STEP 1 Open a new image 700 x 600 Transparent background PSP9: Colour Depth = 16 Million Colors (24bit) PSPX-X6: Colour Depth RGB = 8bits/channel Open up the scroll template image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 2 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options.
STEP 2 With your MAGIC WAND Mode = ADD (Shift) Match Mode = RGB Value Tolerance = 0 Feather = 0 Antialias = Checked Sample Merged = UNCHECKED PSP9 - X6: Check CONTIGUOUS PSPX - X6: There is no " Sample Merged" PSP9 - X6: ANTIALIAS = Outside Select the OUTER transparent area THEN Select the CENTRE transparent area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 1
STEP 3 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN #a5af9e LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 4 DESELECT
STEP 5 ACTIVATE Raster 2 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the OUTER transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 5 ACTIVATE Raster 1 Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN EFFECTS >>> TEXTURE EFFECTS >>> BLINDS
STEP 6 DESELECT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> Greg's Factory Output Vol II >>> Pool Shadow
STEP 7 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with DARK GREEN #6a7b5f LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN Choose your SELECTION TOOL then click on the CUSTOM SELECTION symbol and enter these coordinates.
STEP 8 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT
STEP 9 ACTIVATE Raster 2 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with DARK GREEN SELECTIONS >>> SELECT ALL SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR Flood fill with DARK GREEN SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 5 EDIT >>> CLEAR DESELECT ,
STEP 10 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 90 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the light green section of the border
STEP 11 EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 12 DESELECT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 13 ACTIVATE Raster 3 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the CENTRE transparent area SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> EXPAND = 1 EDIT >>> CLEAR SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 135 DESELECT
STEP 14 Still on Raster 3 With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the OUTER border area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315 DESELECT
STEP 15 ACTIVATE Raster 5 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 16 Open up the scroll template image in your PSP workspace Activate Raster 1 Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the OUTER transparent area SELECTIONS >>> INVERT SELECTIONS >>> MODIFY >>> CONTRACT = 2
STEP 17 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN #a5af9e LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> INNER BEVEL
STEP 18 ACTIVATE Raster 6 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE DOWN DESELECT EFFECTS >>> IMAGE EFFECTS >>> OFFSET
STEP 19 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> SIMPLE >>> TOP LEFT MIRROR EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW Same settings EDIT >>> Repeat Drop Shadow.. change DIRECTION to 315
STEP 20 LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE VISIBLE With your MAGIC WAND.... Same settings. Select the CENTRE transparent area EFFECTS >>> 3D EFFECTS >>> DROP SHADOW Vertical & Horizontal offsets = 1 Colour = Black Opacity = 90 Blur = 0 Repeat Drop Shadow effect changing Vertical & Horizontal Offsets to - ( minus ) 1 Click OK DESELECT SAVE YOUR WORK
STEP 21 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Flood fill with LIGHT GREEN LAYERS >>> ARRANGE >>> MOVE DOWN
STEP 22 Open up the fantasy111 image in your PSP workspace Right click on the Title Bar and select COPY from the options Right click on the Title Bar of your frame image and select PASTE AS NEW LAYER from the options. IMAGE >>> RESIZE = 70% Ensure "Resize all layers" is UNCHECKED Resample using WEIGHTED AVERAGE ADJUST >>> SHARPNESS >>> SHARPEN Reposition down a little with your MOVER tool
STEP 23 In your LAYER PALETTE change the OPACITY to 85% Change the BLEND MODE to LUMINANCE (L)
STEP 24 ACTIVATE the Merged layer EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 25 EFFECTS >>> PLUGINS >>> EYE CANDY 3 >>> DROP SHADOW
STEP 26 LAYERS >>> NEW RASTER LAYER Select your TEXT tool and with a font of your choice add your name LAYERS >>> MERGE >>> MERGE ALL (Flatten) Save as .jpg image
